Annual, quarterly or monthly publication
The policy guidelines for central government bodies dictate that
spend data is published monthly by working day 15 after each month
end for all departments, non-ministerial departments, agencies,
NDPBs, Trading Funds, NHS bodies and Academies.
Spend data can be published to spotlightonspend on either an
annual, quarterly or monthly basis. Whatever publishing frequency
you elect to implement we process the raw data in accordance with
our Data Transformation Methodology.
Actively managed publication to www.data.gov.uk
spotlightonspend is a managed service which includes hosting of
the download files as well as the online application used by the
general public. We are actively engaged with the Cabinet Office and
manage publication of your redacted and standardised ‘raw data’ to
www.data.gov.uk in machine readable
form.
