Residents can now see how much Brighton Council spends

Residents can see exactly what their council is spending their money on from today.

Brighton and Hove City Council will comply with Government guidelines by publishing all spending over £500 on its website.

The Spotlight On Spend programme will show all contracts, tenders and payments for public scrutiny.
